Engaging In Chaos: A Booklet About David Carson

Written and designed by me, this booklet contains information about the multiple techniques used by champion surfer turned graphic designer, David Carson. In the booklet, the text is purposely designed with unorthodox tracking, leading, and kerning. Each spread in the booklet is designed to mimic the technique that is being analyzed in that chapter as well as Carson’s work. This is achieved by using a similar color pallet, textures, typography, and imagery used in the designed spreads.
